Granna & Poppa's Garden

I have sweet childhood memories of my sister and I riding with our Dad on his tractor plowing the garden every spring, dropping seeds in the holes he dug, and watering the plants with creek water. Thirty plus years later, I'm so glad Poppa's still plowing and planting so that my own kids can have the opportunity to see how a garden grows!

I love this story, Tim and Sally's Vegetable Garden by Grady Thrasher. It ends by saying:
"Tim and Sally were amazed that such little seeds
Could create so much, fill so many needs.
They asked Mom and Dad, 'How could this be true?'
Mom said, 'Your wonderful garden has taught each of you,
With each plump tomato and bursting bean pod,
That gardeners work in partnership with God!'"
