When All Else Fails, Use a Synonym
During Anna's Bible read aloud time tonight, she came across the word "mule." Every time she tried to say "mule" though, it sounded as if she was saying "meow." She truly sounded like a little kitten purring. Tim and I kept trying to help her pronounce it correctly but we both kept getting tickled. She was trying so hard but to no avail---"meow" just kept coming out---so finally with a sweet, weary voice she wisely asked, "Can I just say donkey instead?" :)

Childlike Faith
Looking out the window at the rain yesterday morning:
John Caden: "It snowing?"
Anna: "No, John Caden. We didn't ask for God to send us snow, silly! We prayed for Him to send us rain, so He's sending us rain to wash the pollen away."

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Mark 11:24
