Thanksgiving 2015

Looks like someone must have had a little too much turkey and couldn't keep all of his belly and hindquarters from hanging over.

True Fans

How much do we love this guy? Evidently enough to sit out in the 30 degree weather and watch him play in two (not one, but two) soccer games. #brrrr #nomoredoubleheadersplease

Soccer Filled Weekend

We ventured over to the Atlanta Silverback's Soccer Stadium and watched two of John Caden's soccer coaches play on Friday...
They made John Caden's night by letting him join them on the field during their warm-up...
Our soccer loving friend, Maurie, joined us for the game. It's always extra fun when he's around!
John Caden played and Tim coached in a double header on Saturday...

World's Best Endodontist

It wouldn't be my choice that my 10 year old daughter has to be under the care of an endodontist, but since she does, I couldn't be more grateful for the endodontist that we have. Dr. Soto and her staff have become like family to us over the past six weeks, going out of their way to show kindness and take exceptionally great care of Anna. Just because we love her and her staff so much, we took cookies to them at our latest appointment. Little did we know that Dr. Soto would have a hand written card, a Starbuck's gift card, and Anna's favorite apples (Pink Ladies) that she's been deprived of eating for so long waiting to give to Anna in return.

Packed Weekend

From spending time with the Georgia Gym Dogs...
to playing in a soccer tournament in the rain...
to dissecting owl pellets...I'd say we covered a lot of ground this weekend...

and wore ourselves out.

Coffee Table Clutter or Valuable Family Bonding Time

For the past year, rather than the normal coffee table decor, 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles have been the mainstay in our living room. Although I miss the neat and orderly look of our coffee table, one day, I imagine I'll look back and have no regrets of having allowed a little clutter to pervade it for awhile--it will have been time well spent with the kids.
