Poor Hudson...he hid behind a curtain and wouldn't come out when I started packing for our trip.  He's a smart puppy dog--he knew when he saw the suitcases being brought up from the basement that we would be leaving him, but he got to enjoy a vacation of his own at Granna and Poppa's while we were away.

I often come across interesting answers and notes while checking Anna and John Caden's work...

like John Caden's answer here to "someone or something that's very cute"-- "too cuteable."

Or a nice long, flattery love letter from Anna when I cross out and don't make her do part of her assignment for the day.

 Anna asked if she could color/decorate the cover of her new writing journal. Wow--the before and after results were quite astonishing! I'd definitely look more forward to writing in a journal with this beautiful cover rather than writing in a plain old boring white one!
