Over the past few weeks, everywhere we go Anna and John Caden are constantly wanting to stop and pick up leaves. We'll be going through the grocery store and I'll look down and see them each with a leaf in hand that they picked up on the way in, or I'll find leaves in their church bags after we get into church, or I'll even discover leaves under Anna's covers at night. Since they enjoy picking up leaves so much, the idea occurred to me, why not have an official leaf hunt? (It's a lot easier than an egg hunt, the leaves are already provided naturally by God)! So we gave them their buckets and let them search for the prettiest leaves they could find this weekend. (I actually did have an ulterior motive---I need the leaves to make a Thanksgiving Tree for a homeschool project this week). :)
