After seeing this commercial (and shedding a few tears), it made me think of a little thing my dad and I have shared between us over the years--the exchanging of turkey pictures. I'm not sure if either of us remembers why or which one of us even started it, but at random times throughout our lives we've left a picture of a turkey in various places for the other one to find, often with no written message--it was just our silly way of putting a smile on each other's face. Turkey's would show up on one another's bathroom mirrors, on steering wheels, in cards, in books, etc. I packed the pictures up and took them with me when I moved away to college and I remember slipping one into my dad's pocket as I walked down the aisle on my wedding day. I kept every turkey picture that he ever gave me and I suspect that he might still have some saved up in his top dresser drawer too. :) Yes, it's the little things in life that can mean so much.
