Pitiful Pup

Although it's happened numerous times before and hasn't phased him, for some reason when a transformer blew near our house this morning, the explosive noise sent Hudson into hiding.  After searching with flashlights in the dark, we finally found him under Anna's bed--a place he's never gone before.  And the sad thing was, once we found him, he was not interested in coming out.

I had to hold up the bed skirt for this shot.  Is this not the most pitiful little puppy dog face that you've ever seen?!

After hours of attempting to lure him out with treats and bones had failed, we moved on to Plan B--have Poppa come over.  Our plan worked--the mere sound of Poppa's voice at the front door drew him out of hiding and after a good 30 minute belly rubbing, his fears melted away.
