Fort Lauderdale 2010

John Caden LOVED the beach this year. He was all boy splashing in the waves and playing in the sand!

We swam twice a day in Gramma's Pool.

John Caden jumped,...

and jumped,...

and jumped some more!

Anna preferred to stay away from all the splashing.

Cousins Payton and Zachary came over for a swim. John Caden's double name has always baffled Zachary---he called him "John and Caden" the whole time we were there. :)

We had fun visits with Grampa.

Even away from home Anna quickly found one of her favorite things to do...drawing.

And thankfully, John Caden didn't have to go a day without a guitar. Gramma let him borrow her old one.

Uncle Aaron & Aunt Tammy invited the whole Falkins' family over for dinner. Aaron cooked ribs and chicken for us on the "green egg" --- DELICIOUS! Their dog Mocha swam in their pool for 2 hours!

It's becoming a tradition---Uncle Aaron took us to the fire station again this year (even on his day off)!

Thanks to Aunt Tammy's double jogger we were able to get some running in alongside the beach.

We spent our last day watching boats pass by on the intracostal waterway.
It sure is great to have family who live at the beach, but we wish we didn't live so far away from them!!!
